Beyond Belief

Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11: 40.

A closed sepulchre is not a place to find life, but Jesus always stood in front of those impossibilities to bring hope in to those lost conditions of humanity, where Jesus stands there are possibilities. On that roaring water Peter walked towards Christ, he walked in the direction of hope in faith, where his impossibilities were made possible by an outstretched hand. Unless we open the tomb, and unless we step out of the boat in to the rushing waters we will not see the glory of God. Faith makes the difference and finds its meaning in the midst of doubts and risks, all we need to know is whether Jesus is around and near. God puts us in the midst of impossibilities where our faith gets activated, that we aspire to see his Glory and not in our strength but by his power. Faith in him always gives us a chance to renew our hope even in the midst of despair, because where Jesus stands there is always a way, as He is the way. His works are beyond belief.

Noah had to build the ark in a generation which never saw rain, Abraham had to prepare the altar with a peculiar sacrifice, Moses had to show the staff towards an open sea, David had to face Goliath without a spear, and Peter had to cast the net beyond fishermen’s logic. God’s ways when its revealed will be beyond belief, but it can be never beyond our belief. There is no proof to our faith except for our obedience to his word. We will see his glory revealed through us, when we believe in the possibilities in the midst of impossibilities knowing that the one who stands with us is the Almighty God. We will never know what’s in store for us unless we enter in to his truth, the truth which leads us in to his promises!

The higher place is the place of faith where we see his truth unfold and where we experience the fullness of his ways . Jesus was seated on the highest place because he humbled himself to death on the cross, totally surrendering to the will of God. A place of faith to surrender will enable us to experience his power and presence which is the real high in our lives…where we will testify the might of his grace to do things far more exceedingly than we could ever imagine.
